Violations cross 4 lakh across State

The violations across the State crossed 4 lakh mark on Thursday with the lockdown in effect for the seventh consecutive week.

Till 9 am, the number of violations stood at 4,07,891, while 4,32,061 people have been booked. The number of vehicles seized was 3,59,129 and the fine collected so far is Rs 4.47 crore.

Meanwhile, city police booked 306 cases of violation in 24 hours till 6 am on Thursday and seized 130 vehicles. Traffic police seized 109 vehicles for various traffic violations.
