Veeramani’s remarks being twisted: Stalin

Stating that his party was not against Hindus, DMK president M K Stalin on Saturday accused some media organisations and the RSS of twisting the remarks made by Dravidar Kazhagam (DK) leader K Veeramani against Lord Krishna. Stating that Veeramani did not speak with an intention to insult Lord Krishna, Stalin said he had only cited some examples.

“But some media organisations and RSS have twisted and launched a false campaign against the DMK during the elections,” he said.

Speaking at an event organised by the DK recently, Veeramani said that Lord Krishna should be the first person who should be booked for the criminal act of eve-teasing.
