Vaiko, said, “Tangedco had recruited 300 persons for the post of AEs in December and the list of selected persons was released on Thursday. In the list, 12 per cent of the selected persons are from other states which is highly condemnable.”

Vaiko also said that more than 90 lakh educated persons in the state are still jobless and under the circumstances, Tangedco had recruited persons from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Delhi.

Similar recruitment happened in 2017 in polytechnic colleges where out of 67 open seats 46 were recruited from other states, said Vaiko.
