TN Governor, CM Palaniswami extend Ayudha pooja greetings

Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami extended their Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadasami greetings to people.

The Governor said while Ayudha Pooja, being celebrated tomorrow, symbolises the victory over evil, Vijayadasami on Saturday marked the auspicious beginning of learning for children and starting of new ventures by the youth.

"May these festivals ignite the lamp of knowledge, spread literacy and wisdom, promote skill development and innovation and bring all round development, progress and prosperity," he said in a Raj Bhavan statement.

Rao also extended Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadasami wishes to the people of Tamil Nadu and to those living in other parts of the country.

Palaniswami said that the working class used the occasion of Ayudha Pooja to honour the tools used in their vocation, praying for flourishing of their business and trade.

"Vijayadasami marks the launch of education, new ventures and initiatives," he said and extended his Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadasami greetings to people.
