Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami was expected to meet Governor Banwarilal Purohit at Raj Bhawan on 5 PM.

The meet is a regular coronavirus spread and reinforcement discussion that the CM had been doing with Governor since the lockdown.

However, the meet was called off in the last minute for reasons privy to those involved.

The pale picture is, Chennai has been recording cases over 1,000 for the past 36 days.

Fatalities have reached to 11,605 with 7,45,848 people getting discharged.
