TN Agriculture Minister Duraikannu hospitalised after complaint of chest pain

Minister Duraikannu was en route to Salem, to pay homage to CM Palanisami's mother, who passed away early on Tuesday.

Tamil Nadu Agriculture Minister R Duraikkannu was taken to a hospital in Villupuram district on Tuesday morning after he complained of chest pain and breathing problem.

At around 10 am, this morning, when the convoy was crossing Thindivanam, the Minister had complained of uneasiness and breathlessness. He was immediately rushed to the Villupuram Government Medical College and Hospital (VGMCH) in Mundiyambakkam.

After first aid, the Minister was later shifted to a Chennai by road, in an ambulance, for further treatment. The condition of the Agriculture Minister is said to be stable, according to the reports.
