Tirunelveli tops in Clean India initiative

In a programme to test how districts fare in public toilet usage and maintenance, Tirunelveli district has topped.

Tirunelveli's District Collector Shilpa shared the feat of her district to public.

The district ensured safe sanitary space for women and children making a sanitary complex for those who couldn't afford because of their dingy homes.

Shilpa will be felicitated on behalf of the district by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

The ceremony is to take place virtually on Friday at 10 45 in the morning.
