Tiruchy monitoring officer holds review meet

TIRUCHY: PWD Principal Secretary and Tiruchy district monitoring officer Dr K Manivasan conducted a review meeting with officials from various departments on Tuesday. Manivasan who visited Tiruchy convened a meeting with the officials and interacted about the status of ongoing developmental projects. He asked the officials to complete the projects within the tender period and urged to complete storm water drains and other irrigation canal works before the monsoon commences. Meanwhile, he inspected the ongoing renovation works at Rani Mangammal building to the tune of Rs 9 crore at the old Collectorate premises. He asked the details of the project. The building has been renovated without altering the original structure. Subsequently, he inspected ongoing project works undertaken by the civic body.
