Special prayers and offerings are taking place in temples across Tamil Nadu on Vinayagar Chaturthi.

One of the most important Hindu festivals, Vinayagar Chaturthi is being celebrated across Tamil Nadu today.

Various pujas and abhishegams are taking place to Lord Ganesha since early Friday morning in Ganesh temples in the state.

With public gathering restrictions in place, the public is advised by the government to make the celebrations a private affair.
