The First Additional Kanyakumari District Sessions Court in Kanniyakumari sentenced two brothers to life imprisonment for murdering a man after a quarrel at a wedding in 2009.

According to the prosecution, Justin (32) and his brother Allwin (33) of Madichel village of Vilavancode taluk were guilty of murdering Sindhumon (33). The trio had gone to supply food to a wedding ceremony, where a quarrel broke out resulting in stabbing.
