Sathankulam case accused, SI Sridhar hospitalised

Sub-Inspector Sridhar who was arrested and kept in Madurai Central Prison has been hospitalised in Government Rajaji hospital in Madurai after he fell ill due to a problem in his spinal cord on Thursday. 

Earlier, the Madurai District Court rejected Constable Murugan's bail plea.

Murugan and Sridhar were among the accused in the custodial murders case of the father-son duo Jeyaraj and Bennix.

The Judge accepted the CBI's argument on the bail hearing which stated that the witnesses can be dissolved and thus, rejected the bail plea.
