Rajinikanth heaps praises on Kamal's debut

Kamal Haasan's film industry friend actor Rajinikanth wished him well for the exceptional performance of his party Makkal Needhi Maiam in its debut Lok Sabha election.

Actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth praised his long time tinsel town colleague Kamal Haasan for the way his party fared. 

The Superstar of Tamil cinema was on his way to Mumbai and answered the press on a question regarding Kamal Haasan's Makkal Needhi Maiam. He said, ''4 percent is a handsome number for a party that is just 14-months old, I wish him for his success.''

The party won third position in many constituencies, racing ahead of the comparatively experienced Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) and Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK).
