Pondy MLA's so suspended from Youth Congress

Close on the heels of ruling Congress legislator Dhanavelu suspended from the party for “anti-Party” activities, his son Ashok Shinde was also suspended from the Youth Congress.

Dhanavelu raised a revolt against the government and levelled charges against the Chief Minister and his son. He also met Lt Governor Kiran Bedi and submitted a complaint against the government. Following this, Dhanavelu was suspended from the party with the consent of the High Command.

Meanwhile, Ashok Shinde accompanied his father to the Raj Nivas and also posted remarks in support of his father and against the Congress in the social media. This was apprised to the Youth Congress leadership by the unit here following which Shinde was also suspended by Abraham, the All India Youth Congress secretary in charge of Puducherry.
