“The IMF and economists have warned that the country is in danger with economy rate falling to 4.5 per cent. It (BJP) has not paid attention to the downfall of the country’s economy despite being in power for more than six years,” he tweeted. Alleging that the BJP at the Centre has taken divide and rule in its hand by triggering unrest and suddenly acting to control it, he said, “the BJP should leave such anti-people activities and try to concentrate on economic growth. This is what peace loving people expects from the Centre.”

In another tweet, he also alleged even Tamil Nadu has not grown due to the AIADMK’s inefficiency.
