After having assumed charge as the 17th Vice Chancellor of the MKU, he said all issues concerning this University would be addressed and solved within a month’s time.

While talking to reporters, he said he will not misuse this position for entertainment, but to bring a transformational change in the University. “Earlier, I worked in this University, it emerged as a top class University. But for some unfortunate reasons, its quality has slipped,” he said.

Further, he sought all cooperation to create and install discipline in students and also to appoint disciplined staff.

He also appealed to the faculty members to raise standards of the MKU to international level through their research programmes.
