Kasturirangan committee's draft that evoked skepticism around Tamil Nadu which has finally subsided. The rework was welcomed by many political figures but a statement also came from an unexpected quarter; AR Rahman.

The mozart of Madras doesn't usually comment on political matters. But, the musician's love for Tamil is no secret. His famous Tamil phrase 'Ella pugazhum iraivanukke' (praises to God) has travelled all the way from Oscars to auto rickshaws. 

AR Rahman on his twitter handle welcomed the un-necessitating of Hindi as third language in a lucid and succinct manner.
