Modi invites TN CM for meeting with party leaders on April 8

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday invited Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami to participate in the coming meeting of Parliamentary party leaders on the Covid-19 issues on behalf of the AIADMK.

In a statement issued here, the government said Modi on Sunday contacted Palaniswami over phone and invited him to participate on behalf of AIADMK in the meeting to be held on April 8 through video-conferencing.

Ahead of his meet with the floor leaders of parties in the Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in one of his first such initiative amid 21 day lockdown, on Sunday called up the heads of various political parties.
