IMD withdraws red alert in Tamil Nadu

According to the Chennai Meteorological Department, rainfall will continue for the next two days in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Red alert issued for districts Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Theni and Dindigul in Tamil Nadu is withdrawn by the Indian Meteorological Department on Tuesday.

According to the Chennai Meteorological Department, rainfall will continue for the next two days in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Fishermen have been warned not to go for fishing during these days.

The low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal is now moving towards the state of Andhra Pradesh.
