Fourth Cabinet meet to be held on Friday

The fourth cabinet meeting of the DMK government is slated to be held on Friday.

“The State government is planning to seek compensation for the damages incurred during the recent flood. The quantum of compensation will be decided in the meeting. The decision to send govt representatives to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to submit the letter seeking compensation will also be decided in the meeting,” a source in the Secretariat said.

Recently, Chief Minister M K Stalin had announced that a letter to the Prime Minister seeking compensation will be sent after the report by the team of Ministers is submitted to him.
