Karthick (29), Subramanian (31), Alex Pandian (38) and Annadurai (33) had launched a YouTube channel named ‘Village Hunt’ four months back and they have been uploading videos on how to hunt wild animals, cook and consume them.

They had already uploaded the cooking videos of wild boar, peacocks, monkeys, dogs and foxes. They would also ‘teach’ the technics of hunting wild animals and explaining how to eat them with the special recipe they had prepared.

The gang has been making several lakhs through their channel.  

However, the Ariyalur District Forest Officer Ilangovan came to know about the gang, collected details and arrested them. The forest officials also seized the equipment used for the channel. They were later lodged in theCentral Prison, Tiruchy.
