Four IPS officers transferred again two days after first transfer order

Two days after 11 IPS officers were transferred in the state, four of them were shuffled again on Thursday by the Home Department.

V Balakrishnan, who was serving as the Joint Commissioner of Police (East) in Chennai was posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) of Vellore range on Tuesday. But he was transferred again on Thursday and posted as the DIG of Railways, Chennai.

V Vanitha, DIG of Vellore, who was transferred and posted as the Joint Commissioner of Police (East) at Chennai, has been retained as the DIG of Vellore.

P K Senthilkumari, DIG , railways has been transferred and posted as the new Joint Commissioner of Police, East, Chennai.  ET Samson who was serving as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of the Coastal Security Group at Ramanathapuram was posted as the SP of Organised Crime Intelligence Unit in Chennai on Tuesday. On Thursday however, a press release said he has been posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Police at Tirunelveli city.

P Rajan, SP, OCIU, who was transferred on Tuesday has been asked to stay back.
