Family members pay respects to Kalam on his 91st birth anniv

CHENNAI: On the 91st birthday anniversary of former president and ISRO scientist APJ Abdul Kalam, his family members conducted special Dua prayers at his resting place in Rameswaram.

The prayer meet was held for 30 minutes led by Rameswaram mosque's Aleemsha Abdul Rahman. The event was attended by the Jamaat members, Kalam's family and social activists.

The meet was attended by District Revenue Officer Kamatchi Ganesan, Kalam's grandsons Sheik Saleem and Sheik Dawood, niece Ayisha Begam, nephew Jainulabdeen. Actor Dhamu too paid his respects. Activists from Rotary club and others also paid respects to Kalam.
