Don’t dismiss 346 varsity staff: CPM

CPM on Friday urged the state to regularise the employment of those who are working on the consolidated salary basis and daily wages in the Annamalai University in Chidambaram.

Party state secretary K Balakrishnan said there were reports that 346 workers and others would be relieved owing to the financing condition of the university. He demanded the state to intervene and ask the university to regularise them.
