Vijayasundaram of Chidamabaram has forwarded a fake whatsapp message carrying aspersions about Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) chief KS Alagiri and media department chairman Gopanna.

Similarly a forged letter of Congress pulling out of DMK alliance owing to DMK president 'dishonouring' Congress by having talks for third front was published. This document had both the TNCC chief KS Alagiri's signature and the party's letterhead which sent shockwaves among Congress and DMK cadres.

There is a strong suspicion that Vijayasundaram could have forged the document as well. The Congress leaders have strongly condemned such offhanded acts of miscreants. They asserted that Congress is very much in alliance with the DMK.

The case was filed with the Chennai DGP against Vijayasundaram by Shanavas, the vice chairman of Congress party's legal wing.
