DMK's Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi has suspected a foul play even on the part of the ruling AIADMK government in the PM Kisan scheme scam.

Early on September districts like Cuddalore, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Thiruvannamalai, Karur and Vellore made headlines for the wrong reasons.

Some people in these districts inducted their bank accounts for the PM Kisan scheme that disburses rupees 6,000 to the farmers, they were found out to be unqualified for the criteria to benefit from the scheme.

Such people having a truck with the local government officials have been siphoning off money that should've been rightfully given to the farmers.

Expose of this scam made Tamil Nadu red-faced. CB-CID has been making arrests and many suspension orders were issued to the culpable government staffs.

Following this, Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi made the allegation that without the ruling government ministers' tutelage this scam cannot have taken place.

Furthering her attack she even accused the BJP government rhetorically asking is this why the party is promoting bank accounts for poor.

She tweeted this attaching a news report that states amount to the tune of Rs 110 crores were snitched by 5 lakh fake beneficiaries.
