DMK general secretary Anbazhagan put on ventilator support 

DMK general secretary K Anbazhagan has been hospitalised due to age related complications. Though no official statement was issued either by the party or the family till Tuesday evening, sources in the party said that Anbazhagan has been put on ventilator support following acute breathing problem.

DMK president MK Stalin, who visited the 98-year-old party general secretary a day ago, had held a discussion with his senior leaders following the latter’s admission to intensive care unit of a corporate hospital in the city.


The DMK general secretary has been abstaining from active politics for almost a year now owing to illness.
