CM Edappadi K Palaniswami tests negative for covid-19: TN Health Minister

Tamil Nadu health minister C. Vijayabaskar said highest number of corona tests are happening in Tamil Nadu during a press meet on Monday.

Moreover he confirmed that CM Edappadi K Palaniswami has been tested negative for covid-19. He appreciated the efforts of frontline workers who fight against covid-19 day and night.

He also stated that the state has an average 30,000 corona test per day which is highest count compared to any other Indian state. Nearly 55% of corona patients have been discharged and the total stands 34,112. On Monday nearly 1,358 have been discharged. So far 9.19 lakh corona tests conducted throughout Tamil Nadu.
