CM, Deputy CM and MLAs test for Covid-19 ahead of assembly session

Officers and press people to partake also have to test for the Covid-19.

Following the Business Advisory Committee's decision to convene Tamil Nadu assembly on September 14 to 16, CM K Palaniswami, Deputy CM O Panneerselvam and MLAs tested for covid-19.

The Committee had advised the Legislative assembly members to test 72 hours prior to the session.

Officers and press people to partake also have to test for the Covid-19.

Previous session was conducted on March.

The session was decided to convene in Kalaivanar arangam at Wallajah road as the Assembly hall in St George fort cannot house 200+ MLAs in accordance to physical distancing measures.

Only those who test negative will be permitted to the assembly session.
