Class 10 board exams cancelled in TN: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami

The Chief Minister added that decision for exams for class 12 will be made and announced soon.

Following months of anticipation for the board exams ofClass 10 exams in Tamil Nadu, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappadi KPalaniswami on Tuesday announced that the board exams for class 10 will becancelled across state and all students will be considered qualified.

This comes after the Tamil Nadu government informed theMadras High Court on Monday that the schedule prepared to conduct the Class XBoard exams from June 15 was decided after holding discussions with experts.

The court, suggested that the life of more than 2 lakhstudents cannot be put under risk and asked the government o considerpostponement of the exams. When the whole state was waiting for a revisedschedule, the Chief Minister has announced that the exams have been cancelled.He added that decision for exams for class 12 will be made and announced soon.
