Class 10 board exam schedule after May 3: Min

Asserting that the board exams for Class 10 will be surely conducted, Tamil Nadu School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan on Monday said that the schedule for the exams will be released after May 3.

“Our department will prepare a detailed timetable after May 3 and it would be sent to the Chief Minister for approval,” he told reporters here. He hinted that the exam schedule might be very short so that it could be completed as early as possible. On the evaluation of answer sheets for Class 12 board exams, Sengottaiyan said that a detail schedule in connection with corrections of answer sheets will also be released after May 3.

He also said strict action will be taken against the management of private schools who force parents to pay fees for the new academic year.
