Body of Perambalur man murdered in Kuwait arrives

The body of M Kumaresan, a resident of Perambalur, who was murdered by his roommates in Kuwait arrived at Tiruchy International Airport on Friday. It was handed over to his family members.

According to sources, Kumaresan who was working as a driver in Kuwait shared the room with two persons, one a resident of Andhra Pradesh and another from West Bengal. The duo had an argument with him on March 29. The quarrel snowballed into an assault, in which Kumaresan was murdered.


Meanwhile, the family members approached through the Tamil associations to help them bring the body to India. They also contacted through the government. However, the release of the body was delayed as the police there were investigating the case. On Friday, the body was released and it reached the Tiruchy airport around 9 am.
