CHENNAI: The Executive Committee of the AMMK would meet on November 4 in Trichy to hold discussion on key issues, including the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.

General secretary of the party TTV Dhinakaran, in a statement, said the members of the committee have been asked to attend the meeting without fail.

Party insiders said that the meeting would focus on the Lok Sabha polls in the 2024 and it would provide a platform to discuss and devise strategy for the polls and alliance formation.

Since the AIADMK ended its alliance with the BJP and exited the National Democratic Alliance, the significance of the AMMK party had increased manifold.

The party leaders would explore the possibility to make use of the political situation for the revival of the party and get more seats in the polls.
