Tiruvallur

 Several school and college students from nearby educational institutions participated in the march that covered several areas in and around Tiruvallur town.

Tiruvallur district collector R Maheshwari flagged off the rally that was attended by several local residents besides district officials. Speaking at the occasion, the collector highlighted the ill effects of alcohol on thehealth of individuals as well as the families of relatives. She also spoke on the importance for avoiding illegal arrack and urged police to take strict actionon those indulgingin the same.
