Alagiri denounces BJP’s game plan to topple govt in Cong-ruled states

TNCC president KS Alagiri condemning BJP’s efforts to topple Congress governments in various states said, it is an absolute anti-democratic way and the Congress will continue to fight against this.

Speaking to reporters in Ariyalur on Wednesday after garlanding the statue of former CM Kamaraj, Alagiri said, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami should initiate steps to distribute loan at that Cooperative Societies and the jewel loans to the farmers. “He should have prevented when the Centre took steps to control the cooperative societies under Reserve Bank of India but he failed to do so,” Alagiri added. On the pandemic front he said, “Tamil Nadu government should learn from the neighbouring states (Kerala) and follow the strategies to control the virus.”
