Air Marshal visits Air Force college in Coimbatore

Air Marshal SRK Nair, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, Indian Air Force (IAF) accompanied by Geethanjali Nair, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional) arrived on a two-day visit to Air Force Administrative College (AFAC) in Coimbatore on Thursday.

An official release here said on Friday that they were received by Air Commodore SR Menon, Commandant AFAC and Jayashree Menon, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Local).

A ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented to the Air Officer Commandingin- Chief on arrival at AFAC.

The Air Marshal inspected various training faculties, College Museum and addressed all course officers and personnel of AFAC.

During the address he complimented AFAC for its efforts towards the quest for excellence in training officers of the IAF.

Geethanjali Nair chaired a meeting and interacted with members of Air Force Wives Welfare Association. She visited Blooming Buds play school and other welfare ventures of AFWWA (L) at AFAC during the visit, the release added.
