After a woman addressed newspersons and alleged that her son Gokul was kidnapped and held captive by Senthil Balaji for no reason, the DMK leader clarified that he was innocent in the case and it was proved in the court in 2011. The case has been closed, he said.

“The woman has come up with the charges after several years to defame me. I am aware that AIADMK leaders Vijayabaskar and Thambidurai are behind this. They are doing this just to defame me and I will file a case against them”, said Senthil Balaji.

Meanwhile, he claimed that he will win with the maximum margin in the bypoll. He said the people have already decided to vote for DMK but the AIADMK leaders have been resorting to all forms of tricks to secure more votes. “Their attempts will prove futile. The DMK cadre will always monitor and prevent such people who devise illegal plans”, he said.
