One of them, AIADMK MLA from Sirkazhi, PV Bharathi, was involved in the arrangements of Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami’s programme scheduled on Thursday. As a precautionary measure, he himself volunteered to undergo tests on Wednesday and the results came in a day later. He is being treated at a hospital in Mayiladuthurai. The other DMK MLA from Kizhvelur U Mathivanan who was showing symptoms, had undergone testing, and received the results on Thursday. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. All those who participated in the CM’s programme underwent testing on Wednesday.
