89 DSPs, ACPs transferred

In a major reshuffle in category I officers of Tamil Nadu Police, as many as 89 Deputy Superintendents and Assistant Commissioners have been transferred to various positions across the state.

P Asokan, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Adyar Range, has been transferred to Tambaram Range, while Tambaram ACP T Easwaran has been posted as Deputy Superintendent, Special Task Force, Erode. R Srinivasalu, DSP, Anti-Land Grabbing Special Cell, Chief Office, has been transferred as Assistant Commissioner of Neelankarai Range. 

From there, ACP S Pandian has been transferred to the Guindy range in the existing vacancy. K Ponnusamyi, DSP, Metro Wing-II, CB-CID, Chennai, has been posted in Social Justice and Human Rights wing in Ariyalur in the existing vacancy. K Ramalingam, DSP, Aavin, Chennai, has been posted in EOW-II wing Headquarters, Chennai, in the existing vacancy. 

R Vishnu, DSP, SID CB-CID, Chennai, has been transferred to investigative units of crime against women in the existing vacancy. S Sankaralingam, DSP, OCIU, Chennai. has been transferred as Assistant Commissioner of Intelligence Section of Greater Chennai Police. 

K Muthukumar, who was in the position, has been transferred as Assistant Commissioner of Washermenpet, from where M Sirajudeen has been transferred from Washermanpet to Ayanavaram range.  Ayanavaram ACP G Chandrahasan has been posted as DSP of Uthukottai sub-division. 

K Saravanakumar has been transferred to Uthukottai from Chennai and posted as Sembium Assistant Commissioner. TR Arnold Easter has been transferred from Sembium to Dharmapuri as DSP of Investigative Units of Crime against Women wing.
