73 yoga, other posts to be filled

The Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) on Tuesday decided to recruit 73 yoga and naturopathy medical officers to serve in various medical institutions across the state.

The MRB notification said the selected candidates will have to serve a minimum of three years in government service. 

Accordingly, out of the total vacancies, 22 has been reserved for General Category candidates, 19 for Backward Community (BC), 15 for MBC and rest for SC/ST categories. Defence personnel released or likely to be released from the Armed Forces due to disability incurred in forward areas while on duty, will also be selected if they are found to be otherwise qualified. 

The number of vacancies given is only an indicative number, the MRB notification stated.
