Pakistan decimated Bangladesh by the sumptuous margin of 94 runs as Bangladesh fizzled out for 221 in response to Pakistan's 315.

Though Pakistan failed to win a spot in the top 4 they managed to win the hearts of cricket lovers with a stellar performance both in batting and bowling.

Imad Wasim, Imam Ul Haq and Babar Azam's batting effort was ably supplemented and complemented by Shaheen Afridi's sinistral spell that was completed in just 9.1 overs as that was all it took Afridi to sabotage the Bangla batsmen.

Shaheen Afridi is the youngest bowler to take a 5 wicket haul in a world cup match. 

A good batting from Pakistan extended to a exemplary defence as well. Posting a strong total of 315 runs, the Pakistani bowlers began asking tough questions to Bangladesh batsmen who never were let to settle.
