TNPL may be held in November or next year: TNCA

There were reports that the TNCA was considering to conduct the match in August.

Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) announced on Saturday that the fifth Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) could be held in November or next year if coronavirus is contained by then.

The 20-over match was scheduled to be held from June 10 to July 12 this year in Salem, Coimbaore, Madurai. In May, it was announced that the league has been postponed due to the coronavirus situation.

There were reports that the TNCA was considering to conduct the match in August.

Regarding this, the TNCA Secretary Ramasamy said, “It seems impossible to conduct the match in August. However, we are discussing about the prospects of conducting TNPL in November or next year.”
