Stage set for another IPL auction

The stage is all set for another IPL auction as eight franchises will once again bid for world-class players for cricket’s slam-bang version

migrator

The two new franchises – Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Super Giants have already picked five players each at the draft held last year, and would now be keen to further strengthen their squads with formidable players.  While some teams will go for ‘value for money’ players, others may be willing to spend big on some of the biggest names like Yuvraj Singh, Kevin Pietersen, Dale Steyn amongst others at the auction. 351 players – including 204 capped and 26 uncapped players – will go under the hammer.
