In what turned out to be a low-scoring match, SRMC RI & RC successfully defended 132 with its bowlers S Surya (4/17) and S Rangaraj (3/24) sharing seven wickets between them to bowl out Frank Worrell CC to 103. In a third division match, Sri Vaishnavi CC held its nerve to prevail over Aththis CC by three runs. Sailesh Prabhakaran was the pick of the bowlers taking four for 37 while M Vinayagam took three for 33.
