Local League: St. Joseph’s, MOP grab honours

St. Joseph’s College of Engineering emerged overall champions for the 14th consecutive time in the three-day mega sports festival, Jets, that concluded in Chennai

Over 82 colleges took part in eight disciplines - basketball, volleyball, chess, kabaddi, ball Badminton, badminton, football and table tennis. MOP Vaishnav bagged three titles (basketball, ball badminton and chess). In other disciplines, MCC men were crowned football champions and Loyola won in basketball. The men’s chess title went to SSN while Sri Ganesh, Salem triumphed in kabaddi.
