Holder Bayern Munich faces Italian side Lazio, which is in the knockout stage for the first time in 20 years. Barcelona faces Paris St-Germain in arguably the tie of the round, a repeat of their 2017 classic. Meanwhile, in the Europa League Manchester United will face David Silva’s Real Sociedad in the last 32. The Manchester City legend moved to Sociedad last summer and will return to the city with his Spanish side. Arsenal faces Portuguese giants Benfica and Premier League leader Tottenham takes on Austrian side Wolfsberger. Reigning champion Sevilla is not involved as it has reached the last 16 of the Champions League.
