In the most expected semi-final and final, Jeppiaar Institute of Technology boys overcame the challenge of Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram and Loyola College, Chennai respectively.
The India Blue ace Moin Bek and Daniel Richards shouldered the Jeppiaar team with the timely help of Anand, Vishwa and Shelton. Against Loyola in the final, the acting coach Haribaskar made a few changes in the workouts as well as players. It led the match by two points at the end of the third quarter and won the coveted trophy with the score 71-61 after trailing by 12 points at half-time.
Daniel Richards of Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, was adjudged as Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
