Hindustan University defeated Jeppiar Institute of Technology (JIT) in both men’s and women’s category at the southzone inter-college basketball tournament at Thoothukudi.

In the match played between the two teams in the men’s section Hindustan University got the better of JIT 80-76. In the women’s group Hindustan triumphed 58-55.

In an other MCC defeated SRM University 78-70.
