However, it appears it’s no different abroad. The international media recently went berserk over some images of Deepika and Tennis ace Novak Djokovic, clicked in LA during their dinner date. The actress who’s shooting for her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel, once again became the point of discussion when the images surfaced on Twitter. However, this time it was for a different reason.

While fans might be thrilled by the pictures, a foreign daily failed to recognise the actress and addressed Deepika as a “leggy brunette”.

“The world number one Tennis player appeared to have had a great night as he was pictured exiting the bar- popular among LA’s A-lister set- in the dark hours of the evening with a female companion,” reported a popular daily. Twitter reacted to the report with much amusement.
