While City II got the better of City I at the TI Murugappa Cricket Ground, City III fell at the hands of City IV at the Scope Ground. Rahul Ayyappan Harish (98) guided City II to 286 for six on day two, seven more than the total City I (279) had posted on the first day. Advaith Prahalad (74) contributed a half-century as City IV (213) outscored City III (200).
