Disappointing day for FC Madras

FC Madras suffered defeats in the Sub-Junior (Under-13) League and Junior (Under-15) League in its second double header at the SSN College Ground here on Friday. In the Chennai Zone Under-13 fixture, Chennaiyin FC got the better of FC Madras 1-0, with Adam netting the winner for the home side in the 20th minute.

FC Madras suffered defeats in the Sub-Junior (Under-13) League and Junior (Under-15) League in its second double header at the SSN College Ground here on Friday. In the Chennai Zone Under-13 fixture, Chennaiyin FC got the better of FC Madras 1-0, with Adam netting the winner for the home side in the 20th minute. CFC edged FC Madras 4-3 in the evening encounter as well, which was the Chennai Zone Under-15 one. The visiting team levelled the score thrice but the host had the last laugh, thanks to a stoppage time goal from Abilash.


Results: Sub-Junior (U-13) League: Chennaiyin FC 1 (Adam 20’) beat FC Madras 0;    Junior (U-15) League: Chennaiyin FC 4 (Rahul 4’, Ujjwal (Own Goal) 29’, Elvis 79’, Abilash 90+5’) beat FC Madras  3 (Seigoulun 11’, Manglenthang 68’, Rathinavel 89’).
